Back ABG Shipyard bags Rs 270 cr order

ABG Shipyard Ltd has bagged a repeat order from Sea Tankers Management Co Ltd for construction of anchor handling tugs valued at Rs 270 crore. With this order, the company's order book now stands at Rs 2,204.36 crore. The new order involves construction of six anchor handing tugs for Sea Tankers, a part of John Fredriksen's Group. The delivery period for the tugs starts in December 2007 and will be wrapped up by March 2009. The new order involves a higher rate of $9.99 million for each vessel.
