Mauritian company seeks tie-ups

Mauritian conglomerate Rogers & Co Ltd plans to visit India from April 20-29 to explore business ventures with the local industry. The company would hold meetings in Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai to forge alliances in the field of hospitality and logistics among others. The company is looking at joint ventures with Indian companies to enter India and also grow its presence in the Indian Ocean and Africa region. In areas where Rogers has expertise, such as resort and hotels, it wants to manage the businesses and in other areas it is willing to participate as a junior partner. The company would also invite Indian business to invest in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean region in partnership with it. The company owns seven hotels apart from resorts and its freight forwarding and cargo services operations span Africa, Indian Ocean region and Europe.
