FnS India, which has launched a collection of cutlery, plans to come out with cutlery for Indian foods. Speaking at the launch of the FnS collection, Mr Adish Jain, Director, FnS India Inc, said the company had made a study of Indian eating habits and was introducing special cutlery to suit local tastes. The company plans to target the hospitality and gifting segments as these sectors are set to boom, he said.

Mr Jain said that he started the company 17 months ago with an investment of Rs 3 crore. The company has roped in designers from Italy, France and Scandinavia to design the collections. The Indian cutlery market is largely unorganised and is estimated to be about Rs 125 crore. The organised segment accounts for about Rs 25 crore. He said FnS India aims at capturing about 25 per cent of this market by the year-end.
