Drag race in Bangalore

Bangalore: Narain Karthikeyan would be the star attraction at Speed Run 2006, the country's best-known drag event for cars and bikes, which will be held at the Jakkur air fields here on April 22 and 23.

Classification for Indian bikes include bikes from 81cc to 110cc, 111-150cc, 261-360cc, 81 to 110cc (4-stroke), 111-160cc (4-stroke), 161-250cc (4-stroke), 350cc and above, and the Indian open class.

For foreign bikes, the classification of bikes is up to 500cc, 501-750cc, 751cc and above and Foreign Open, an organisers' release said. — UNI
