Rehabilitation
"Thirty-five thousand families are yet to be rehabilitated. Two hundred and twenty villages will be submerged when the dam height is raised from 110m to 121m." She pointed out that despite the Supreme Court judgment that the height cannot be increased unless rehabilitation is completed , there has been no "proper rehabilitation." The group consisting of the Tamil Nadu Domestic Workers' Movement and other organisations sent a memorandum stating their support to the displaced people's struggle for justice to the Prime Minister.
