Facile win for Hyderabad Globe

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Globe defeated State Bank of India 4-0 in the `A' division Rahim league football championship at Barkas Grounds here.

Striker Sekhar scored the first goal in the 42nd minute. In the second session, Hussain Mohsin, Kareemullah and Sekhar were on target to complete the tally for the winner.

International eves cricket

Andhra Pradesh Women's Cricket Association will organise an international tournament on the lines of Asia Cup in the State, according to M. Ramalinga Reddy, secretary of APWCA. India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will take part in the inaugural edition.

Former India captain Mamata Maben nominated by the WCAI as observer will inspect Anantapur RDT Stadium on Sunday as part of these efforts. The matches will be held in Hyderabad and Anantapur, Mr. Reddy said.

Ball badminton camp

Ranga Reddy District Ball Badminton Association will organise summer coaching camp for boys and girls (under-19 years) at United Club Grounds (Malkajgiri) from April 28 to May 31 in mornings and evenings.
