Back Zarges may set up facility in India Our Bureau

German firm Zarges GmbH & Company, which is into quality vertical access and logistic equipment, may set up its manufacturing facility in India under joint venture with the Hyderabad-based Jayakrishna Aluminium Ltd (JAL). Addressing newspersons here on Monday, the Zarges Managing Director, Mr Dieter Reis, said to begin with the company has entered into a marketing alliance with JAL for its product portfolio in the Indian market. The products include access products, logistic equipment and systems for airport technology, industrial equipment, systems for windmill industry and façade access systems. "We are currently assessing the Indian market potential. We are going to avail the services of a professional market research agency for the purpose soon. Depending on the segment of demand, we will firm up our Indian investment plans, " Mr Dieter Reis said. The JAL Director, Mr V. Prem Sagar, said the manufacturing facility, once finalised, would come up at Narsapur in Medak district of Andhra Pradesh, where the Indian partner already has its aluminium extrusion facility.
