Luxembourg adopts new takeover law

LUXEMBOURG: Luxembourg's parliament adopted on Thursday a new takeover law stripped of controversial clauses seen as being aimed at blocking Mittal Steel's hostile bid for Luxembourg-based steelmaker Arcelor.
