Producer A.M. Ratnam has several hit films to his credit. His earlier venture with Pawan Kalyan - Khushi - was a big hit. While expectations are high in their combination, director Dharani fails to make wonders at the box office.

Disappointing second half

Though the first half of the film is not much bad, after interval it is a big disappointment.

Bangaram (Pawan Kalyan) is a man who is ready to risk his life to become a popular journalist. His ambition is to work with BBC. He works for a private television channel and is able to get an interview of a terrorist leader.

The channel gives a grand promo about the interview, but could not telecast it as Bangaram loses the videocassette while trying to save a girl. The chief of the channel (Tanikella Bharani) dismisses him.

He decides to meet the chairperson of the channel Peddireddy (Mukhesh Rishi). He meets him and accompanies his family under typical circumstances to his village. Peddireddy has two daughters Sandhya (Meera Chopra) and Vindhya (Baby Sanusha). Peddireddy wants to get her elder daughter Sandhya married to Kondareddi, brother of Bhooma Reddy (Asuthosh Rana). In fact, Sandhya loves Naveen (Raja) in America and hence tries to escape from home. Not knowing this Bangaram brings back her home. On learning the love affair, Bangaram decides to unite them. Whether he succeeds in his effort by overcoming the difficulties from factionalists is the remaining part of the film. Pawan Kalyan is at his usual best. Fights and action scenes are extraordinary. Reema Sen's character has no relevance to the subject. Though the subject is interesting, the director fails to handle it properly.

The comedy track is also not impressive.
