Back Michael Gorham made NCDEX director

The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd (NCDEX) has appointed Dr Michael Gorham as Additional Director.

NCDEX has an 11-member board.

Dr Gorham, a US citizen, is Director of the IIT Centre for Financial Markets, Stuart Graduate School of Business, and Illinois Institute of Technology.

He currently serves on the CBOE Futures Exchange Board of Directors, the National Futures Association's Business Conduct Committee, the Editorial Board of the GARP Risk Review, and the Editorial Board of the Futures Industry Association.

He is also Regional Director for Chicago, Global Association of Risk Professionals.

He served for 18 years in various management capacities at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
