Back Kohler plans India foray

US-based kitchen and bath accessories maker Kohler Co has charted its foray into the Indian market.

The company said it would invest around $200 million in setting up a manufacturing facility in Gujarat. "We are setting up our first plant in the country in Gujarat, and we expect production to commence by November next year," Kohler Co's Kitchen and Bath Group President, Mr David Kohler, said.

The company, however, plans to export a majority of the production to European and US markets.
