Bangalore , May 10 Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL) expects its new product, `Don't Stop' mobile to boost subscriber base by one lakh every month. The product launched here on Wednesday, comes with free talktime for two years and follows a similar facility offered for incoming calls for pre-paid subscribers. Mr Manzoor Ameen, Circle Operating Officer (Karnataka Circle), said at a press conference that Indicom services are expected to spread to more than 300 towns in the state by the yearend. TTSL began its Karnataka services only two years ago and has a subscriber base of five lakh with more than 50 per cent accounting for pre-paid users. Mr Ameen said the subscribers would be given an initial talktime of Rs 10 for calls to other phones. With `Don't Stop' mobile there is no fixed monthly commitment, subscribers are free to recharge with any denomination and use the value during the entire validity period of two years. Mr Ameen said the earlier version of `Don't Stop' mobile with its brand ambassadors, matinee idol-couple Ajay Devgun and Kajol, had seen a phenomenal success. Mr Ameen, who recently assumed his new responsibility, said TTSL's countrywide subscriber base was nine million.
