Counselling for PG medical seats from today

Staff Reporter

87 seats will be offered in the afternoon

BANGALORE: The seat selection process (counselling) for postgraduate medical and dental seats under government quota will begin at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) campus here on Thursday.

While the available eight post-graduate dental seats will be offered for selection in the morning session of Thursday, the 87 post-graduate medical seats will be offered in the afternoon session of Thursday and both the sessions of Friday, RGUHS officials said.

As many as 9,300 candidates had appeared for the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) conducted by RGUHS on February 12.

The counselling was to have started much earlier.

But the scandal linked to alleged question paper leak and other irregularities had affected the dates.
