`Ease water crisis in Brahmpur'

GULBARGA: Residents of Brahmpur locality (Ward No. 25 and 35) in the city led by the Samajwadi Party on Thursday staged a "rasta roko" for over an hour near Goa Hotel Cross on SB Temple Road demanding steps to ease the drinking water crisis in their area.

The residents, in their memorandum to the Commissioner of the Gulbarga City Corporation, demanded that the corporation take steps to supply drinking water through tankers to their locality.
