Consumer information centre opened

KOCHI: The Kerala Civil Supplies Corporation Limited has opened a consumer information centre at the Corporation's office in the city.

A press release said here on Thursday that a facility would be put in place for consumers to test the food samples they bring. Spices, cereals, oil, fruits and vegetables can be tested at the facility.

Initially, ward committees or residential associations in Panampilly Nagar, Palarivattam, Kaloor, Fort Kochi, Palluruthy, Vyttila and Petta can collect samples and submit them for tests.
