TTD extends free bus facility to SV Zoological Park

TIRUPATI: The TTD's free bus service, run from the Railway station and APSRTC bus station up to Alipiri, the foot of the hills, for the benefit of the visiting pilgrims, has now been extended up to the SV Zoological Park.

The TTD has decided to ply seven services between Railway station and the zoo, starting Thursday. The buses will depart at 8.30 a.m., 9 a.m, 10.30 a.m, 3 p.m., 3.30 p.m., 4.30 p.m. and 5 p.m., while the departure time at the zoo will be 9.15 a.m, 9.45 a.m, 11.15 a.m, 3.45 a.m, 4.15 a.m and 5.45 p.m., the curator, B. Sundar, has announced on Wednesday. He expressed the hope that the facility would increase the number of visitors to the zoo.
