Voltas pays Rs. 6 per share, to split share

MUMBAI: Voltas has informed the BSE that the board of directors at its meeting held on May 11 recommended a dividend of Rs. 6 per share of Rs. 10 each for 2005-06. The directors have also recommended split of shares of the face value of Rs. 10 each into the face value of Rs. 1 a share subject to the requisite approvals. The company has reported a net profit of Rs. 96.68 crore against Rs. 45.37 crore. Net sales have risen to Rs. 1,853.14 crore from Rs. 1,386.66 crore.
