Probe ordered into temple row

TIRUPATI: Executive Officer of the TTD A.P.V. Narayana Sarma has asked Joint E.O, Tirupati, Balaramaiah to probe the reasons that led to the alleged cancellation of the scheduled `Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam' in the temple of Goddess Padmavathi at Tiruchanur on Tuesday.

The fete which as per the temple custom is held as a prelude and preparatory ceremony to the `Vasanthothsavams' could not be held as scheduled on Tuesday causing displeasure among the devotees.
