Valmikis told to shun faction politics

KURNOOL: Minister for Lift Irrigation M. Mareppa has called upon Valmikis to come out of the vicious circle of faction politics for social and economic development.

Talking to reporters at Aspari in Kurnool district on Thursday, he said the Valmiki community was in a helpless state in the absence of a profession of their own. Most of the victims of faction violence were Valimikis and hundreds were languishing in jails in faction-related violence.
