Entry into Chukka Ramaiah's coaching institute is half the battle won for candidates aspiring to enter the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Such is the reputation, which has been substantiated by figures over the last few years. But limited seats at the institute have always denied the psychological advantage to candidates who fail to make into it despite good performance. The difference between those who qualify and those lose out is just one mark most of the times. The highly respected teacher has now realised it and opened the gates for 150 candidates in addition to the 153 originally selected. The pressure was from parents, students and even media who felt his services should reach more students. Well! One can expect more success for students from the State in the coming years.
