Flood scam investigator receives threat

PATNA MAY 12: The Vigilance SP Ashok Kumar Singh investigating the flood relief scam alleged of receiving a threat to his life last night.

Mr. Singh, who is also looking into the role of the RJD MP Annirudh Prasad alias Sadhu Yadav, brother-in-law of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, charged that the anonymous caller threatened him with dire consequences if he did not go slow in investigating the scam.

Mr. Singh has since reported the matter to his superiors. While the caller hadn't identified himself, Mr. Singh maintained that he warned of getting back at him once his party returned to power in the state.
