Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party, which has four legislators in the Legislative Assembly and is supporting the Azad Government, has demanded the dismissal of the People's Democratic Party from the ruling coalition for its "anti-national statements." Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, the Panthers party chief Bhim Singh said, "The PDP has made statements which go against the country and its interests. It has advocated self-rule and demilitarisation of the State, a demand that goes against the country's interests." Mr. Singh said, "Congress president Sonia Gandhi should clear her party's stand on self-rule and demilitarisation as the PDP's stand is emerging as a danger to national integrity."
