Cable worker electrocuted

A cable worker was electrocuted at his work place at Prashasan Nagar in Jubilee Hills on Saturday.

The police said P. Appa Rao, 40, of Jubilee Hills was attending to some repair works when he came in contact with live wires and suffered serious burns. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.

succumbs to burns

A lorry cleaner succumbed to burn injuries he suffered at Aramghar in Rajendranagar on Thursday.

Suresh Kumar, 20, a native of Rajasthan, was cleaning an oil tanker when he accidentally came in contact with high-tension wires and suffered burns. He was admitted to Osmania General Hospital (OGH) where he died on Saturday.

Two farmers

commit suicide

A farmer, who attempted suicide by consuming pesticide at his house at Ibrahimpally in Chevella on Friday, died while undergoing treatment at OGH on Sunday. The police said P. Sekhar Goud, 23, ended his life following a family dispute.

Another farmer committed suicide by consuming poison at his house at Vikarabad on Saturday. According to the police, K. Anjaiah, 35, ended his life as he was suffering from health problems.
