SSLC exam: Bellary records pass percentage of 74.37

BELLARY: Bellary district has recorded a pass percentage of 74.37 in the SSLC examination conducted in the month of March 2006. Of the total of 21,719 students, who appeared for the exam, 16,154 have passed.

Sirguppa taluk has recorded the highest pass percentage with 87.23 and the lowest pass percentage of 62.15 was recorded in Bellary (East).

The pass percentage in other taluks were: Bellary (West) 73.01; Hadagali 83.93; Hagari Bommanahalli 80.08; Hospet 74.13; Kudligi 69.71 and Sandur 76.0. In all, 297 students have passed with distinction.
