Back Edible oils stay steady

All major edible oils remained steady with limited volume. Castor oil commercial grade was up a rupee at Rs 326 per 10 kg.

RBD palmolein was steady at Rs 394 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was steady at Rs 465 per 10 kg. Soya oil refined imported was steady at Rs 395 per 10 kg. Soya oil crude oil imported was up a rupee at Rs 375 per 10 kg on some enquiries. Sunflower oil expeller was steady at Rs 405 per 10 kg.

In the futures segment, castor seed June contracts ended weak at Rs 1,503 per quintal, down by Rs 9 over previous day's close.

Sugar declines

Small grade (S-30) was down Rs 5 at Rs 1,930/1,960 per quintal over previous day. Medium grade (M-30) was down Rs 9 at Rs 1,955/1,991 per quintal over previous close on scattered buying interest.
