Workshop on `Quantitative Methods in Finance'

Belgaum: The Mathematical Sciences Institute, Belgaum, in association with the Department of Mathematics, Karnataka University Kittur Rani Channamma Post Graduate Centre, Belgaum, and the city-based MATS School of Business & IT will be organising a three-day workshop on "Quantitative Methods in Finance" at the MATS School on Khanapur Road from May 28 to 30.

The event is being organised as part of its inaugural year initiatives and dedicated in memory of the renowned economist and former Vice-Chancellor late Dr. D.M. Nanjundappa.

According to T. Venkatesh, academic coordinator at the centre, here on Sunday, the workshop is organised in view of the recent economic developments all over the world, giving rise to a new economic culture in finance.
