`Jayciana 2006' draws to a close

MYSORE: "Jayciana 2006," a cultural extravaganza organised by Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), concluded on Sunday with a fusion music performance by the troupe, "Swarathma."

Rangayana Director Chidambar Rao Jambe inaugurated the cultural programme on Friday. The SJCE campus in Manasagangothri was booming with music for the last three days with a host of programmes being organised between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Orchestra, singing and dance programmes were held on Friday. A fashion show was organised on Saturday.

S. Sneha of Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology was adjudged Miss Jayciana and Harsha of Mysore Medical College Mr. Jayciana.

A "pick `n speak" contest was also organised on Saturday.
