Traffic police needed Sir, Kalyana Nagar Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) terminus on outer ring road near Depot No 23 is an important point in North Bangalore for city bus routes. Many buses start here and many outer ring road buses pass through it. But in the absence of traffic police, some buses deviate from their approved route and are irregular. Further, there is no signboard giving information of the routes. BMTC should do the needful immediately.
S. Kuppuswamy, Bangalore Irregular service Sir, A Pushpak bus has been provided to ply between Vidyamanyanagara, Shivajinagar bus stand and Kempegowda bus station. On the assurance of the authorities concerned, many people purchased the monthly Pushpak passes. However, even after two months, the Pushpak bus has not been plying regularly, and a red-board bus has been plying instead. This bus is also irregular, causing inconvenience to people. Many people have, therefore, started purchasing the monthly red-board bus passes. However, when the Pushpak does ply, people are forced to purchase tickets. I urge the authorities concerned not to collect additional charges from the pass holders.
K.R. Raghavendra Rao, Bangalore Provide bus stop Sir, After some recent changes in traffic rules, many roads in Bangalore have become one way. This was necessitated owing to continuous traffic jams and frequent accidents in some areas. As many accidents occurred in front of Krupanidhi College at Koramangala I Block, the adjacent road was made one way. Now buses coming from Majestic area are allowed stops at the beginning of Sarjapur Road. The stop at Koramangala water tank has been removed and the next stop is near the Madiwala Market for the buses going to Hosur side. Those who want to go to Kendriya Sadan or any office located at Madiwala have to walk more than one km to reach their destinations. A bus shelter should be provided at Agara stop.

Trenches on roads
Sir, The roads between 6th and 8th mains and 15th `A' Cross and 7th Main in Malleswaram West are in a poor condition. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Bangalore Electricity Supply Company and others, which have dug the stretches to lay cables, have not filled the trenches for several months now. The people living in the area submitted a memorandum in this regard to the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) and the local MLA but to no avail. Also, these stretches have not been asphalted for many years. Now that the BMP is taking up roadworks, I request the authorities concerned to include these stretches in the list of roads that will be repaired. Also, many houses and apartment blocks dot the roads and there is no parking space for vehicles on the roadside. This has inconvenienced many people. I request the authorities to take steps to tackle this problem.
