Back Cranes Soft to merge operations

Cranes Software has announced its decision to merge the operations of its wholly owned subsidiary, Engineering Mechanics Research India Ltd(EMRC India). The merger was effective from April. Computer Aided Design/Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) firm EMRC was acquired by Cranes in May 2005 for $1.5 million. The acquisition process has now been completed. Following the acquisition, Cranes has leveraged EMRC's domain experience and its team of 40 people comprising scientists, technology architects and software engineers to enhance visibility in the targeted market segment. Cranes has also continued to invest in further development of the core NISA product since the acquisition.
