A. M. Raman is new CMDA member-secretary

CHENNAI: The State Government has issued one more order while making changes in the postings of officers of the Indian Administrative Service.

A. M. Raman is the new member-secretary of the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority. Till now, he held the post of Vice-Chairman of Science City, according to a government order issued on Thursday. The services of C. Umashankar, formerly Commissioner for Disciplinary Proceedings, Salem, are placed at the disposal of the Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited for appointment as its Managing Director.

Atul Anand, formerly Tirunelveli Collector, is posted as Officer on Special Duty for the formation of Directorate of e-Governance.

D. Vivekanandan, formerly Perambalur Collector, is now the managing director of the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, replacing S. Chandramohan.

S. Kosalaraman, formerly Coimbatore Collector, is posted as Additional Secretary in Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme department in the place of Hemant Kumar Sinha, who is transferred as Commissioner and Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services.

Nilgiris Collector

A. Ramalingam, former Joint Secretary to the previous Chief Minister, is posted as the Nilgiris Collector, replacing C. Vijayaraj Kumar, who has been transferred as Thanjavur Collector. Ranvir Prasad, Additional Collector (Relief and Rehabilitation), Nagapattinam district, is the new Tiruvallur Collector, succeeding Pankaj Kumar Bansal. Ramesh Kumar Khanna, Secretary of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, is posted as Labour and Employment Secretary.

N. Danam Jeyan, formerly Inspector General of Registration, is posted as Additional Secretary to Revenue department. T. Jacob, on reversion to the State cadre, is posted as Special Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare department.

The services of D. Rajendran, formerly Industries Secretary, are placed at the disposal of the Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited for appointment as its chairman and managing director.

Dipak Jain, chairman and managing director, Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation Limited, has been transferred as chairman and managing director of the Poompuhar Shipping Corporation Limited.
