PFC pays dividend to Centre

NEW DELHI: The public sector Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has paid a third interim dividend of Rs. 166.29 crores to the Union Government for the year 2005-06.

The cheque was presented to Union Power Minister S.K. Shinde by PFC Chairman and Managing Director V.K. Garg at a ceremony here.

This dividend is in addition to the Rs. 195.24-crore interim dividend already paid to the Government during 2005-06.
