Back Sundaram Info to triple headcount

Sundaram Infotech Solutions (SIS), the information technology services arm of Sundaram Finance Ltd, plans to hire over 500 professionals in the next 12 months, thus tripling its headcount in Chennai. The company, which recently implemented a couple of large value offshore IT solution deals in the UK and Sri Lanka, plans to target markets in West Asia, especially Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE, and also enter the US, according to a company press release.SIS has a 50,000 sq ft software development facility in Chennai and plans to double its infrastructure this year.
