Rain lashes city; traffic movement hit

BANGALORE: Rain lashed several parts of the city on Monday evening. Trees fell down in some areas. The movement of traffic was also affected. According to the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike personnel, a huge tree fell in B.T.M. Layout and another one fell in J.P. Nagar. There were reports of storm water entering houses in some low-lying areas. Traffic was affected on all the major roads, including Mahatma Gandhi Road, Old Madras Road and Richmond Road.
