COMED-K releases correct answer keys of four subjects

    BANGALORE: Responding to the complaints of students about wrong answer keys, the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) on Monday released the correct answer keys of all the four versions of the four subjects of the undergraduate entrance test conducted on Sunday. The keys could be accessed on the website www.comedk.org/uganswerkey version.asp. On Sunday, several students complained that the answer keys released by COMED-K on its website were wrong. Students had found that there had the answer keys of various versions of the papers were interchanged.

    The COMED-K responded that the students could challenge the answer keys by following the necessary procedure.

    In a press note, S. Kumar, executive secretary of COMED-K, admitted on Monday that the answer keys posted on the website on Sunday night were incorrect. The jumbling the answer keys was because of an error in the decoding process, he said.

    After a review, the correct answer keys had been posted on its website at 3 p.m. on Monday. Request for clarifications regarding the notified answer keys would be accepted up to June 2, the release said.
