Bangalore: WorldSpace satellite radio has tied up with Barista, a chain of cafés. Through the tie-up, customers in 74 Barista outlets across the country can now tap their feet to India's widest range of music while they unwind over a cup of coffee. Not that Barista was bereft of music. But the new arrangement promises to provide more choice, particularly Indian, even as you sip some hot cappuccino and sway to the rhythm.
Many genres
The arrangement gives coffee lovers an opportunity to listen to a stunning array of musical genres offered exclusively on the WorldSpace network. More than 40 stations from "Spin," the international pop and rock station, and "UpCountry," the country music station, to "Jhankaar" and "Farishta," 24-hour Hindi music stations, will be available for customers to choose from.
