Back CII team meets TN CM on SEZ

A delegation of members of the Confederation of Indian Industry, led by its President Mr R. Seshasayee, today called on the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Mr M. Karunanidhi, and discussed issues related to labour, power and development of Special Economic Zones (SEZ). A press release from CII says that Mr Seshasayee spoke to the Chief Minister about the shortage of skilled labour in the state that was needed to support the growth in the automobile, construction, textile, IT and manufacturing sectors. This situation could be remedied through large-scale development programmes, he suggested.
