CET results to be declared today

They will be made available on websites and at test centres

Bangalore: The results of the Common Entrance Test (CET), 2006, will be released at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday by Minister for Higher Education D.H. Shankaramurthy at the CET Cell office on 18th Cross, Malleswaram.

The results will be put up at all 186 test centres after 3 p.m.

On websites

Candidates can download the results from the following websites after 1 p.m.: http://kar.nic.in/cet, http://cet.kar.nic.in, www.oneindia.in, www.Karnataka.com, www.vishwabharati.org, www.shimoga.net, www.thatskannada.com, www.educhoice.org, and www.bangaloreeducation.com.

Results will be available through a BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.) service after 1 p.m. Candidates from Bangalore have to dial 1255225 and those outside the city 9580-1255225. Candidates outside Karnataka should dial 080-1255225 for getting the results.

BSNL mobile subscribers can get the results by dialling 12506/12505. Since the CET number is prefixed with two alphabets, candidates should dial in the beginning the two numbers representing the alphabets (for example, 01 for A and 26 for Z), followed by the remaining digits of the CET number. For example, if the CET number is AZ654, candidates should dial 01 26 654.

Reliance Mobile subscribers can get the CET results by dialling 1234 and saying "exam". They can click on Reliance World (RWORLD) Exam Result, or SMS KACET {lt}roll number{gt} to 1234 or 3926. Candidates can also see the results on the screens of their cellphones by typing "RESULT CET {lt}CET No{gt}" and sending it to 3636.

The results will not be displayed on CET Cell premises.
