The Department of Posts opened a Postal Finance Mart in Mangalore on Monday. Inaugurating the mart, Mr S.P. Rajalingam, Director, Postal Services, South Karnataka Region, said that the Department has already opened a Postal Finance Mart in Mysore, and one more will be opened in Chitradurga soon. Ms N.R. Visalatchy, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Mangalore Division, said that customers could get all finance-related services at the mart. Apart from regular services such as savings bank and recurring deposits, mutual fund products are being retailed at the mart, she added.
