Back Verghese Kurien to resign from IRMA

Mumbai , June 5

Dr Verghese Kurien, who recently resigned as Chairman of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, has said that he would also resign from Chairmanship of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand of which he was one of the founders.

"I will be sending my resignation when the IRMA Board meets on June 8," he told newspersons today.

"To those who have not been so happy in my continuing in office, I only want to say one thing. Whatever positions I have held since my reaching the age of 60 were all honorary and elected positions."
