Three persons killed in road accidents

BANGALORE: Three persons died in two road accidents reported from different parts of the city on Thursday. Roy Joseph (35) and another person riding a motorcycle died on the spot when a truck hit the motorcycle near Bellandur Gate on the Outer Ring Road around 3.30 a.m. The truck driver lost control of the vehicle near a road hump resulting in the accident, the police said. The truck driver has been arrested.

A pedestrian died on the spot when a car hit him on JC Road around 8 a.m. The police gave the name of the dead as Karthikeyan (45), a resident of NS Garden near JC Road. The car driver Shiva Kumar has been arrested.
