Power shutdown

There will be no power supply between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday in Doddabommasandra, Ramachandrapura, Blue Field Garden, Chamundi Layout, Nanjappa Layout and surrounding areas.

Training in CAD, CAM

The Government Tool Room and Training Centre, Rajajinagar Industrial Estate, will conduct short-term training programmes in CAD/CAM from June 21. Courses are offered in day and evening batches. Export management

Visvesvaraya Industrial Trade Centre will organise a five-day export management training programme in Hindi and English from June 19 to June 23 for the benefit of prospective exporters/fresh export executives in export organisations. CME programme

The Department of Ophthalmology of the St. John's Medical College Hospital will, under the aegis Karnataka Ophthalmic Society, organise a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on "emergency situations" on June 18. The programme will highlight emergency situations in eye diseases, which are routinely encountered in ophthalmic practice.
