Back Houston keen to expand trade ties Our Bureau
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Miguel R. San Juan, Senior Vice-President, Business Development, Greater Houston Partnership, said that between 1996-2004, there has been an increase of almost 190 per cent in trade between the two countries at nearly $916 million. He further said, "The US has been the second largest source for foreign direct investment in India after the European Union. There is significant potential for India and the US to further strengthen their economic ties, by effectively leveraging India's inherent advantages like availability of resources and a large domestic market."
