COIMBATORE: The Madurai-based Paramount Fabrics India, a technical textile subsidiary of Paramount Textile Mills, has entered into manufacturing of premium menswear garments made of bamboo fibre. According to a release, the new range will be launched in July and the company plans to open exclusive showrooms in Chennai and Bangalore soon. It will also partner with 10 multi-branded outlets in South India to retail the products. The company will use micro modals, tensil, cotton and other blends to produce premium fabrics in different ranges. It envisages production of 1,000 pieces of bamboo-based menswear a day. It has entered into a marketing tie-up with a Dubai-based retail store and is in talks with retailers in the U.K. and Europe too, the release said.
