LogicaCMG enters energy and utilities market

BANGALORE: LogicaCMG, an IT services company, has announced its entry into the energy and utilities (E&U) sector in India. As a first step, it demonstrated its market-leading solution, Prodis, at the SAP summit in Mumbai which concluded on Friday. Prodis addresses the need of upstream natural gas businesses to integrate and standardise their IT systems. It is powered by SAP NetWeaver and manages and accounts for the production of hydrocarbons from the reservoir, through production facilities, pipelines and terminals to the sales point.
