UBS launches operations

HYDERABAD: UBS India Service Centre (ISC) officially launched operations with 180 employees in a facility that could house 450. UBS Group CFO, Clive Standish, told presspersons that the centre would provide the company increased flexibility to meet resourcing requirements, reduce costs, rationalise systems and streamline processes. The CEO, Vipul Khanna, said the headcount here would go up to 500 by mid-2007.
