UTI-Opportunities Fund declares 15 p.c. dividend

MANGALORE: UTI-Opportunities Fund has declared tax-free dividend of 15 per cent (Rs. 1.50 per unit of the face value of Rs. 10), the record date being July 3. According to a press release, the scheme has declared its first dividend within a span of 11 months since its launch in July 2005. All unit holders registered under the dividend option of UTI-Opportunities Fund as on July 3, will be eligible for this dividend. Also investors who join the dividend option of the scheme on or before the record date will be eligible for the dividend, the release added.
