Opportunities up for grabs

Our business process outsourcing firms are busy adding to their headcount and meeting the needs of client companies in the U.S., U.K., Europe and other countries. Now, opportunities are expected from Japan. Not surprising when you consider the Japanese manufacturing companies operating here.

Japan's Information Technology outsourcing market has been evolving rapidly, says a recent industry forecast from International Data Corporation. There is good opportunity for our companies if they can learn more about Japanese business culture. A panel discussion on "India's IT readiness for Japanese Market" is to be held here on Wednesday, just for this purpose.

The panel will include Indian companies already doing business there and some Japanese companies.
