BANGALORE: The Janata Dal (S) leadership on Thursday held a strategy meeting aimed at putting down dissidents in the party and counter any move by former Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to wean away party MLAs. The Janata Dal (S) sees the need to close its rank now that Mr. Siddaramaiah's entry to the Congress appears to be imminent. The Janata Dal (S) leadership is making all efforts to safe guard the coalition Government and to frustrate any attempt by the Congress- All India Progressive Janata Dal combine to destabilise it. Today's meeting was attended by Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy.
