Bangalore: Free pre-examination training will be provided for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes and minority candidates appearing for the September 3 written examination to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the post of Central Sub-Inspector (CPO). The training will be from July 24 to August 30 at the Pre-Examination Training Centre, B.R. Ambedkar Bhavan, Miller Road, Vasanthnagar, Bangalore 560052. Application forms can be obtained from the training centre personally or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Applications have to be submitted by July 10. Copies of the following documents have to submitted along with the application: caste certificate; acknowledgement of receipt of application for the post or examination hall ticket; income certificate (annual Income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh); and degree marks card for all three years, according to a press release here. Candidates will be selected for the training on the basis of marks secured in the degree examination.
