Gaurav Gupta is BMP Special Commissioner

Several transfers effected

BANGALORE: The Government on Thursday promoted Gaurav Gupta, Additional Commissioner, Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP), as Special Commissioner of BMP, G. Kumar Naik as Commissioner for Tourism and S.G. Hegde as Commissioner of Pre-University Education and Special Officer, Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell.

The other key postings include the promotion of G.V. Kongawad as Managing Director, Karnataka State Cooperative Apex Bank Limited; K.R. Shashidhar as Project Director, Karnataka AIDS Prevention Society, Bangalore; C.N. Seetharam as Commissioner for Employment and Training, Bangalore; G.M. Dhananjaya as Deputy Commissioner, Gadag district; G.S. Narayanaswamy as Commissioner for Agricultural Marketing, Bangalore; Baburao Mudbi as Commissioner, Survey Settlement and Land Records, Bangalore, and D.K. Rangaswamy as Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Rural district.

Kapil Mohan, working as PS to the Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, New Delhi, on Central deputation, has also been promoted along with Atul Kumar Tiwari, undergoing training in the United Kingdom, and P. Ganeshan, working as Director (Auction), Tobacco Board, Government of India, Bangalore.

D.N. Nayak has been promoted and continued until further orders as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Member, Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board. Azeezulla Baig, Managing Director, Karnataka Small Scale Industries Development Corporation Limited, Bangalore, has been continued in the same post until further orders.
